Easley SC is a city that resides mostly in Pickens County and has a small area that is located in Anderson County. The town started to grow when a railroad track was laid down because of the persuasion of General Easley. The railroad track made it easier for the town to have imports and exports and eventually led to the progress of having a plant built called “Easley Textile Company“.

Tiny Town
Tiny Town was created in the mid 1970s by Perry and Ollie Jennings when Perry built a small version of a cabin in their yard for Ollie to admire since he knew they would never be able to afford it. In 1977, they added Christmas lights that would make Tiny Town a holiday staple in Easley. It has since been a place to bring the kids to admire the handiwork of the Jennings. In 2009, after both Jennings had passed on, Tiny Town had a total of 80 structures.
Saluda River Rafting Adventures
If you want a place to hangout with your family by a river, then this is definitely the place to go. Located off of Old Easley Highway (Click Here), the outdoor center has activities such as canoeing, tubing, glamping, fishing, kayaking, and visitors can even stay over night in their tiny homes or river pods. In addition, they have a river lodge called 13 Stripes for some adult time in the evening.

Sassafras Mountain
This location is known as the highest point in South Carolina and resides among the Blue Ridge Mountains (Click Here). The scenery of this view point is mind blowing and you can see four different states on a clear day. The four different states that Sassafras Mountain view point shows is South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia. In addition, there are also hiking entrances to the Foothills Trail that can take you all the way to Table Rock.
